Dave Aftandilian Lovely musical retelling of the medieval Breton lai of Sir Orfeo. Listening to CM’s thoughtful and varied dungeon synth submerges you deep in the otherworld of a far-distant time and place. It also takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, from playful sunlit innocence to a harrowing descent into a shadowed faery realm from which few ever return. Favorite track: The Tale of Sir Orfeo.

Ropp Its great to see Chaucerian Myth back in its full glory. In contrast to other longer releases, this one remings me of the beautiful "Troilus and Criseyde" by the same artist. Same charasteristic Chaucerian sound, new complex and pleasant melodies full of intrincated ornaments and engaging harmonies.
The references to both ancient and medieval myths are, as always, a much welcomed added value to the music.
In short: everything good about Chaucerian Myth keeps present in this fantastic release. Favorite track: The Tale of Sir Orfeo.
